Mylan Tootoosis was a really smart and relate-able seminar leader. He encouraged his seminar group to open their minds to new thoughts and have really meaningful group discussions in a safe an nonjudgmental environment. I really enjoyed having him as a seminar leader and feel that he was really helpful in helping to understand content that was learned in class.

The program and facilitator was geared toward people of a minority and aboriginal background/ so we all followed the information very well.

Always smiling and giving encouragement to engage in the material and understand anything that we may have missed. He was open to assisting with any writing problems that we were having and gave helpful guidance to improve our independent learning. He mentioned additional information that was not talked about in class that helped clarify some of the information that we need to know to further our understanding of the course content.

The program gave me a better sense of self and direction. I have changed. On a positive not; I would definitely recommend this program if anyone is ready for change and accepts truth and realization.

This Seminar was very well conducted. He engaged our class in discussions and encouraged his students to talk and ask questions in the seminar. He also did all that he could to help us to be successful. He gave additional explainations for many of the concepts discussed in the lecture. This was very helpful as sometimes the lecture was very hard to follow. Overall I greatly enjoyed this Seminar

Mylan was a great seminar leader. He added to my understanding towards this course and was always open to answering any questions that students had. His touch of humor made the class more fun and I hope to take a course from him when he begins teaching.

Before I came here I had really low self-esteem in my mind I thought it was okay for people to treat and use me badly. Since I came here and met Mylan and the other participants my self-esteem has booted…I am more confident and more aware of my surroundings and the people who (aren’t) healthy. I am making positive choices for myself and my children.
